In celebration of the release of Resident Evil 6, we are taking a look back at the game that started it all, well sort of. Resident Evil the remake came out for the Nintendo GameCube and was an enhanced remake of the of the 1996 classic survival horror game Resident Evil. Not only was the game amazing looking for its time with all-new graphics and sound, but new body physics were added to indicate if your character was hurt and the 180-degree turn was also added. Thank God! New areas and a ton more were added to Resident Evil the remake, but not enough to completely take away what make the original so astounding. Enjoy the First 24 of Resident Evil the Remake.

In celebration of the release of Resident Evil 6, we are taking a look back at the game that let us revisit some of the best events in Resident Evil history, but in on-rails fashion. Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles is composed of five scenarios that take you through events of Resident Evil Zero, Resident Evil, and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. This for fans was the Resident Evil version of House of the Dead as you can blast away zombies with your Wii Remote or Playstation Move as the game moves forward. The game had a ton of depth and replay value as you could rank up guns and replay through scenarios as often as you wanted. Umbrella Chronicles was also pretty long for an on-rails shooter. Enjoy our All That’s Epic First 24 of Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles.

This time around the game starts off with an original story, eventually making its way into Resident Evil 2 and then Resident Evil: Code Veronica. With the sheer amount of action, great graphics and being able to play through Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil: Code Veronica scenarios, it’s a no brainer to own for Resident Evil fans.
