Tom Clancy’s The Division is getting a new expansion. Called Survival, this new expansion has a new trailer, which you can check out below.
The premise for the expansion is pretty straightforward. While on patrol, a snowstorm strands the player in New York during some harsh winter conditions. With your pilot dead and little no way to communicate for help, it’s up to you to survive the harsh winter with low supplies and people who are just as stranded as you are.
This is the second DLC expansion for the game, with the first one being Underground back in June. DLC expansions were delayed so that the team could spend time polishing the game, so to see Survival coming out is a sure sign that Ubisoft is confident with the state of the game.
There’s currently no release date for Survival, though it’s release will be the update 1.5. Additionally, if you play the game on the PC, you can try out the new expansion on the public test servers starting today and lasting until November 13th. The Division is available now for the PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
