Bioshock

Check Out This Sweet Video Of The Original Bioshock Being Rendered In Unreal Engine 4

It’s been awhile since I’ve written about a classic game being rendered in Unreal Engine 4. So let’s remedy that and talk about this awesome recreation of the underwater dystopian city of Rapture, made famous by the 2007 classic Bioshock.

The remake in particular, a short video of which you can check out below, was made by YouTuber Ross LittleJohn. He took one of the game’s most iconic areas, the Medical Pavilion, and really shows what the game would look like on modern systems. As a fan of the original game, this is the kind of animation I can get behind.

With the Bioshock Collection being supposedly in development right now, excitement for the series has never been higher. Hopefully, we’ll here more about the future of the Bioshock series come E3 this year (especially since series publisher 2K Games hinted at a strong presence at the event this year), but until then, we’ll just have to settle for awesome fan animations like this.
