Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 Coming to PlayStation 4 and Vita

Earlier this month, Koei Tecmo announced that a new game in the Dead or Alive spinoff, Dead or Alive Extreme Beach Volleyball, was in the works. Today, we now know which systems will be getting in the Dead or Alive Beach Volleyball fun, thanks to famous Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu (which was translated via NeoGAF).

Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 will be coming exclusively to the PlayStation 4 and the Vita. While little is known about the the title, there will be two versions of the game: the Vita version will be called Venus, while the PlayStation 4 version will be called Fortune; whether these versions connect in some way remains to be seen. No official release date has been revealed, however, as of right now, the games are currently being developed exclusively for the Japanese and Asian market, so for the time being, a Western release is currently out of the question. Still, with the popularity of the series, it’s too early to say never.
