Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Video Details Game Mechanics

A lot has changed in the sequel to the cybernetic shooter, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, as seen in a new video uploaded by Outside Xbox, which includes a number of changes to key gameplay mechanics to either make them more user friendly, improve them overall, or add entirely new mechanics to the futuristic shooter.

Among these new features include a new cover system, the ability to change your weapon on the fly, the new Icarus Strike, chargable weapons, and plenty more. Where as the previous game had different cells to form up their energy bar, Mankind Divided instead has a slowly regenerating energy bar, making using special abilities much easier and with much less waiting for batteries to recharge.

The development team has gone to great lengths to improve the game’s feel, cutting down the waiting and fumbling in order to make a game that is hopefully as fun to play as it is to watch. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is set for release next year on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
