DICE Outlines Battlefield 1’s Update Schedule

DICE isn’t done with Battlefield 1. The developer revealed today their plans for the game when it comes to new content.

In a blog post, DICE laid out what would be their plans for the game going forward. Hoping to shift away from seasonal patches, the studio is hoping to deliver new content on a daily basis. For instance, the incoming Spring Update will introduce Platoons (the game’s answer to clans) to the game that players can join.

The May update was also teased as well, which will hopefully improve the quality of life of the game, including streamlining the flow into matches (especially Operations) and improving many gameplay grievances that will hopefully make the action feel more balanced and fair.

Battlefield 1 is out now for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The game’s next expansion, Name of the Tsar, will focus on the Russian army and the struggles and hardships they faced during one of history’s bloodiest wars.
