Did Activision Just Tease Infinite Warfare In Call Of Duty: Black Ops III?

Right now, Call of Duty: Black Ops III is having a Nuk3town weekend, with playlists and modes that focuses on the futuristic version of one of the series’ best maps. But according to some players, this new event includes teases for the upcoming Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.

At the end of every match on Nuk3town, the map gets destroyed, a tradition since the map’s initial introduction. However, fans have noticed that the animation is a bit different this time around, with a giant space ship showing up as the bomb goes off, and the message “NUK3TOWN OFFLINE” that plays shortly afterwards with a picture of a skull and an unidentified logo before the screen goes black. Nuk3town has been around for awhile, but this is the first time that such an animation has shown up.

So far, neither Activision or Treyarch has said anything, so for now, all we can do is speculate. Still, if this is a hint to the newest game in the series, we’ll hopefully hear more about it. Call of Duty: Black Ops III is available now for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
