Dying Light: Enhanced Edition And The Following DLC Get Release Dates

Awhile back, we reported on the release of Dying Light’s next big DLC (now an expansion) called The Following, though no release date was revealed. However, not only do we have a new release date, we also have news that the original Dying Light will be getting an enhanced edition.

Both Dying Light: Enhanced Edition and the DLC The Following are set to release on February 9, 2016. Dying Light: Enhanced Edition will come with a wide array of features and improvements, including:

  • Legend System (You can keep leveling after the cap for stat bonuses)
  • Nightmare Difficulty
  • New parkour moves
  • New enemy attacks & behaviors
  • New NPC models
  • Console performance upgrades
  • Overall look & feel improvements

If you already own the base game, the Enhanced Edition and all it’s improvements will be free. Otherwise it will cost $60 and will also come bundled with The Following. Don’t forget if you own the base game right now, you have until tomorrow to buy The Following and the Season Pass at it’s original price, before it goes up to $30. Dying Light: Enhanced Edition is set to release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. An announcement trailer for the game was released as well, which you can check out below.
