E3 2016: Crackdown 3 To Be Released Next Year, Will Include Xbox Play Anywhere Feature

Today, we got an update on the long in development Crackdown 3. The upcoming installment in the Crackdown series is expected to hit retail stores sometime in next year.

According to a post on the game’s official website, creative director, Dave Jones with confirmed that Crackdown 3’s  PC port will be implementing the Xbox Play Anywhere feature. For those unaware of Xbox Play Anywhere, it is a new feature announced during Microsoft’s E3 2016 press conference, basically if you buy a game that offers this feature, you will receive a free Xbox One copy of the title if you buy the PC version of the game or the other way around, and regardless of which port you play, any saved game progression will transfer between both platforms.

Crackdown 3 is set for release in 2017 for the Xbox One and Windows 10 PC. However, there are rumors, hinting that a beta might be available somewhere down the road.
