The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Is Now On Xbox One Via Backwards Compatibility

Yeah, it’s finally happened; after so many requests, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is now on the Xbox One via backwards compatibility. But it’s not the only game coming to the system today.

The news comes from Xbox boss himself Larry Byrb, which in addition to confirming Oblivion, also announced that the system will be getting Medal of Honor: Airborne, puzzle action game Trine 2, and indie game Astropop. While Oblivion is obviously the star of the show here, often considered to be the best Elder Scrolls game (I’m more in the Morrowind camp myself), Trine is definitely worth checking out, and Airborne brings some more FPS action to the system.

As always, if you own the game digitally, it’ll be automatically added to your library, and if you own it physically, you can just put any of these games into your system. These games are also on sale digitally too, since if you want to pick them up, you can.
