A Match Made on Pandora: Valentine’s Day-Themed Borderlands 2 DLC Announced!

Love is in the air, everyone! That, and bloodshed. Gearbox Software has announced the addition to the Borderlands 2 DLC family–Mad Moxxi and the Wedding Day Massacre! To reel all you Valentine’s Day suckers in, Gearbox has created a DLC in light of the holidays, but with all that Borderlands 2 wit that we love so much. Anyone who has played Borderlands 2 has probably come across Ms. Mad Moxxi once or twice, and I think it’s safe to say that we all think she’s a bit..well, mad.

Mad Moxxi always has something brewing in her keg of schemes, and now, she wants you to take part in her next devious plan. The story of this DLC is centered around the two feuding families: Hodunk and Zaford. However, a Goliath from each of the families are planning to wed, and Mad Moxxi is sending Vault Hunters after the ingredients for a love potion–to ensure this marriage goes through. But, given the fact that the word ‘massacre’ is incorporated into the title, we all know it isn’t going to end well. Plus there’s the fact that Moxxi is involved.
