Fallout 4 Will Have Twice As Many Assets as Skyrim

If there’s one thing that Bethesda games are know for (besides the often hilarious glitches), it’s the fact the games are huge, with players spending hours exploring the various  beautiful worlds, exploring the various caves and dungeons, visiting towns, and if you’re like me, getting killed by more enemies more powerful than you. Fallout 4 looks to continue that Bethesda tradition of making huge worlds to explore. However, according to Bethesda’s official Twitter account, the game is going to be much bigger than any game the company has done before, specifically bigger than Skyrim.

While promoting a new collaborative art book between Bethesda and Dark Horse comics titled “The Art of Fallout 4”, Bethesda’s official Twitter account showed off some new concept art from the game, as well as an interesting tidbit. “Our artists created 2x the game assets for Fallout 4 than Skyrim, get a taste in our art book.” While we won’t know for sure how accurate this statement is until the game releases on November 10th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, if true, this will make Fallout 4 easily the biggest game that Bethesda has ever worked on. If you want to check out the game’s concept art, “The Art of Fallout 4” will release on December 22nd. Pre-orders for it are open now and it will cost $40.
