Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age Is Coming Out This Year

Square Enix has confirmed that the Final Fantasy XII remaster, Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, will be coming later this year. The game will launch first in North America on July 11th with it releasing only a few days later in Japan on July 13th.

Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age features several new enhancements to the original version that may make fans of the original want to give this remaster a look. Some improvements include enhanced character models, fonts, backgrounds, and cutscenes, plus a number of extra features, including an auto-save system, shorter load times, and Turbo Mode.

This should prove to be an enjoyable distraction for fans that are still waiting for the Final Fantasy VII Remake that is still underway. For those curious how the remaster looks, Square Enix recently showed off some new footage for Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age that shows off the new Turbo Mode. It certainly looks to be a lot of fun and should give newer Final Fantasy fans a chance to enjoy a title they may have missed out on and give fans of the original a new way to enjoy a game they already love.

Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age is set to launch July 11th exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
