Final Fantasy XIV’s Heavensward Story Is Coming To An End

Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy XIV Heavensward’s story is coming to an end. The final story piece will launch March 28th in preparation for the new Stormblood expansion.

“The Griffin has played his final hand. By harnessing the wrath and despair of his dying countrymen did he give form to a new divinity; by the power of Nidhogg’s eyes and his own mortal demise did he give it life,” the description reads. “Only through the swift and desperate action of an Archon was the primal sealed away, but even now this incarnation of vengeance strains to escape its prison of light…”

Stormblood is set to launch later in June will bring with it new Jobs, dungeons, raids, zones, enemies, and more. The expansion will also bring with it new swimming and diving mechanics. This will allow players to explore new areas throughout Eorzea.

Final Fantasy XIV is out now with the last bit of story content for the Heavensward expansion is set to launch March 28thThe new Stormblood expansion is set to launch now later in June.
