Fire Emblem Fates Gets Release Date, A Special Edition

It’s time for some good news and bad news. The good news is that Fire Emblem Fates has a release date. The bad news is that the two games, Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright and Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest, will be sold separately; well sort of.

Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright, and Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest are set to come out on February 19th, 2016. However, on that same day, a special edition will be released which will include not only the two games and an artbook, but also the third full game, called Fire Emblem Fates: Revelations, and is available for pre-order now (though it’s probably sold out by the time this goes up, but good luck if you can find it). If you want to get the regular games seperately, you can buy them separately for $39.99, and can download both the other version as well as Revelations for a reduced price of $19.99.

If it sounds a little confusing, it kind of is. But don’t think that this is a Pokemon situation where both games are the same, as Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright plays like the 2012 3DS classic Fire Emblem Awakening, while Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest plays like a more traditional Fire Emblem game.
