Grand Theft Auto V to Appear on PC, Wii U?

Dan Houser, Vice President of of creativity for Rockstar Games, recently talked with IGN about the latest installment of the Grand Theft Auto series and explained that while there are no definite plans to bring GTA V to PC or the Wii U,  Rockstar would not be against it happening.

Houser explained: “We are a third-party publisher. We’re not Nintendo, we’re not Sony, we’re not Microsoft. We love them all in different ways. But we can do what we want wherever there’s the appropriate business opportunity and chance to find a market. If that’s on Apple we put something on Apple. Wherever it might be. I think that’s the fun in what we do. We see ourselves as a content company that uses technology. We don’t make it; we use it to make the most fun stuff.”

Grand Theft Auto games have appeared before on PC and Nintendo consoles, so the chance is definitely there if Rockstar Games finds the opportunity it wants. This is positive news going forward for those who want to play GTA V but don’t own a Microsoft or Sony console.

Grand Theft Auto V is slated for release in Spring of 2013 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
