“The Simpsons” will be airing their annual “Treehouse of Horror” episode Sunday and will kick things off in a big way with a special intro sequence created by “Pacific Rim” director, Guillermo del Toro.
The couch gag runs about three minutes in length and pulls inspiration from many of our favorite horror classics to create an awesome, mashed up intro sequence. Fans of “The Simpsons” fans are in for a treat this week with the early Halloween special.
Here is the intro clip to amp up your excitement. Just be sure to have all the Halloween candy nearby, this episode will be epic. “The Simpsons: Treehouse of Horror XXIV” will air on Sunday, October 6th on FOX.
