Here’s A First Look At Halo Wars 2’s Campaign

During the RTX expo this past weekend, those who attended the convention received a first look at Halo Wars 2‘s campaign. Despite no official release on any official Microsoft platforms, several folks have re-uploaded unofficial videos of the game footage.

Several individuals have uploaded their own footage of the upcoming real-time strategy game, the video provided below was uploaded by YouTuber IZUNIY. As shown in the video the clip provides snippets of what players can expect from the game’s story, showing off a team of Spartan super-soldiers encountering a group of Covenant Brutes before offering a quick montage of other action scenes. The clip also reveals that the second installment will have connections to events from the previous installment, with Captain James Cutter revealing that his command is back after an eight-year leave of absence.

Halo Wars 2 will be one of many new games to be implementing the Xbox One Play Anywhere feature. For those unaware of the new feature, this will allow players who purchase the console version of a game supporting the feature to receive a Windows 10 version for free, with the cloud saving all game progression for both platforms.

Halo Wars 2 is set for release on February 21st, 2017. The game will be available on Xbox One and Windows 10 PC.
