Hitman’s Season Finale Gets A New Trailer

The season finale for Hitman released today. To celebrate the end, developer Io-Interactive has released a launch trailer to get fans excited for the conclusion of this episodic journey.

The new trailer does a great job of showcasing some of the brutal ways players can take out enemies. From explosions to gun shots, the player has plenty of tools to get the job done. The brutal deaths along with just enough narration to make the player interested in what is happening, the new trailer does a great job of making one interested in seeing just how big of a bang the game ends with.

Episode 6 sends Agent 47 to Hokkaido, Japan to complete a mission called “Situs Inversus,” a “culmination of everything players will have learnt in terms of both gameplay and story.” This last episode should be challenging mission that will put the skills that the player has gained through episode to the test as they reach the end of the journey.

This episode will have player trying to eliminate two targets. The player must track the targets down as they roam the grounds  of the grounds of the hyper-exclusive GAMA private hospital and resort.

“It was a brave decision to go fully digital episodic with Hitman, fundamentally changing how we make the game, and for us it has been a major success,” Hannes Seifert, Studio Head of Io-Interactive, said. “I want to say a big thank you to all the players for making this possible! Together we’ve built and run the biggest and most replayable locations of any Hitman game and added new live content every single week since launch. And although we’re now completing season one, this is only the beginning for our ever expanding World of Assassination.”

Hitman’s Episode 6: Hokkaido is out now on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
