The Justice League Dark movie has been off in the distance with no hints up updates whatsoever. We honestly thought the movie had dropped off the face of the planet. Now, reports indicate that Guillermo del Toro is in fact joining forces with the DC universe, and even has a completed script for the project.
“Today, the completed screenplay for Dark Universe officially went to weekend reads at Warner Bros. The studio’s reactions to the script will be coming back in a few days, and the film could take another step toward production if Warner has a favorable opinion of what they see on the page.”
Between Pacific Rim 2, The Strain and numerous other projects, Guillermo del Toro has a lot on his plate. Could Justice League Dark work its way to the top of the list?
With a first draft of the script completed and in readthroughs, perhaps we will see some updates soon!
