Kasumi is a runaway shinobi and a former member of the Mugen Tenshin Ninja Clan. She is one of the original eight characters, becoming the main protagonist in the Dead or Alive series. Though Kasumi never backs down from a fight, she is compassionate and kind. She gains a significant amount of mental strength as her character arc progresses in Dead or Alive 5.
