Luke Grimes Joins True Blood Cast

“True Blood” Breaking News: Bon Temps Gets a New Vampire

“Brothers & Sisters” grad Luke Grimes will be joining the cast of “True Blood” as James, a circa 1970’s vamp who is both smart and spiritual. James is said to be the new Jim Morrison of vampires, which could either be a good thing or a bad thing. Grimes’ character is set to premiere mid-way through season 6,  which is slated to debut on HBO this June.

Those who watch “True Blood” religiously were left with many burning questions at the end of season 5.  For one, how will things unfold with Bill and Sookie now that Bill is Lillith’s “chosen one”? They were fans’  favorite couple for the first several seasons, but things seem to be a little (or a lot) off with those two. Also, now that Lafayette has discovered his new supernatural abilities and has lost Jesus, what is next for our favorite man-chick?

Joining Grimes in the 6th season of “True Blood” are Rutger Hauer, Arliss Howard, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Amelia Rose Blaire and Karolina Wytdra. Reprising their roles will be Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer, Sam Trammell, Ryan Kwanten and Nelsan Ellis.
