Mark Hamill Suits Up in New Star Citizen Teaser

Mark Hamill is more than just the face of the Light side of the Force, or a Commander of various Wings, and in a new teaser for the space sim Star Citizen, Mr. Skywalker is once again weaving his name forever entwined in the realm of science fiction. The new teaser in question surrounds the game’s single player campaign, known as Squadron 42. In the campaign Hamill is known as the Old Man, a veteran pilot with the striking confidence only Hamill can bring.

Star Citizen is being developed by Chris Roberts and Cloud Imperium Games, following their massively successful Kickstarter campaign, which pulled in $2.1 million of a $500,000 goal. Mark Hamill is best known for his work as Luke Skywalker, but is also known for his voice as the Joker, as well as roles in the original Wing Commander games, of which Star Citizen is based on. The single player campaign will also feature appearances by Gary Oldman and Gillian Anderson. Check out the new teaser as well as the behind the scenes video below. Star Citizen is being developed for PC, and is set for a 2016 release date.
