Metal Gear Online’s New May Update Makes Several Balance Adjustments

Konami gives us the full layout on what’s to come in the monthly update for Metal Gear Online, version 1.12, which is scheduled to arrive later today. The upcoming update will include several patch ups regarding balance issues, as well as several bug fixes.

Some of the features in update include the ability for Quiet to no longer be interrogated, adds a visual indicator to show rank increase and decrease in the mission results, adjusts the scores for each mission, and increases the damage of the SVG-76 and M2000-D to name a few. “Diving has been rebalanced to be executed only once as a quick means of escape, after which the player will be required to wait further before diving once more,” Konami describes. “Likewise, once a player uses a dive, their sprint duration is temporarily cut by half making it likewise difficult to sprint too long after diving.”
