At the Tokyo Game Show, Konami announced during a stage presentation that new cosmetic DLC would be released for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
The DLC will include costumes from Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, which will include letting male Mother Base units dress up like Big Boss’ jungle fatigues and stealth suit, while female units can dress up as The Boss or Eva. If you’re feeling a bit fancy, you can also unlock the tuxedo for costume for Snake, though the costume can also be unlocked in-game by beating the campaign. Finally, there will also be armor for D-Horse. Yes, you read that right: there will be horse armor in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
Currently, there’s no release date for the DLC, or even a price for it, though that info will likely be coming soon. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
