Other information is here too, such as an insight to the possible Day One DLC, art cards and soundtrack, and limited edition packaging. There’s no official announcement from the developers, 4A Games, or publisher, Deep Silver.

Metro 2033 came to our consoles in 2010 on the Xbox 360 and PC, whereas Last Light came out just last year in 2013 on Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC.

Update: Developer 4A Games has officially confirmed the release of Metro 2033 and Last Light on new-gen consoles, stating “Is Metro Redux real? Yes. We never made any secret of 4A’s desire to bring Metro to the latest generation of console hardware.”

“As you can see, we’re not quite ready to reveal 4A Games’ first next-gen console project, but we will be making an announcement this side of E3.”
