New Rocket League DLC Announced, Adds New Cars

Psyonix Studios, the developer behind the breakout hit Rocket League, has announced the next DLC for the game. And it’s paying homage to the first game; yes Rocket League is a sequel. Who knew?

Called “Revenge of The Battle Cars” the DLC will bring back two fan favorite cars from the previous game, Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars (SARPBC): Scarab and Zippy. The DLC will also add new paint types, decals, rocket boosts, and toppers, antennas, trophies and achievements. Below is a full list of what the DLC brings:


  • 2 New Classic SARPBC Cars (Scarab and Zippy)
  • 12 New Decals (Six for Each New Car)
  • 3 New Paint Types (Toon Glossy, Toon Matte, Toon Wood)
  • 2 New Wheels (Scarab and Zippy)
  • 2 New Rocket Boosts (Accelerato and Battle-Stars)
  • 4 New Toppers (Cavalier,  Locomotive, Pixelated Shades, Shark Fin)
  • 2 New Antennas (Retro Balls from the Original Game)
  •  New Trophies (PS4) and Achievements (Steam)

In addition, a free update which brings some new maps will also be released around the same time as the DLC, as part of a free update. Revenge of the Battle Cars is set to release on PlayStation 4 and PC for $3.99 this October. Check out the new trailer for the DLC below.
