Norman Reedus Says Cancelled Silent Hills Game ‘Needs to Happen’

Walking Dead Star, Norman Reedus was to star in Konami’s Silent Hills video game overlooked by Guillermo del Toro and Hideo Kojima until Konami inexplicably canceled the project earlier this year. In a recent interview with IGN, Reedus voices his disappointment.

“I’m super bummed that that happened in Japan, but I have faith”, he said to IGN.”I have faith that we, the three of us, can do something else. There were so many ideas and cool future happenings that were thrown around, I just can see us not picking this up somewhere.” After the canceled project, the fans on the internet did not stay quiet; they loudly voiced their disappointment and started petitions with more than a hundred thousand signatures begging Konami to reconsider their decision.

Reedus agrees that the project should continue on. “I have faith that we’re going to do something though because it seems like it was one of those things that needs to happen”, he concluded. “It’s like destiny, it needs to happen.”
