Pete Hines Touches On Fallout 4 DLC Announcement

Fans got a little bit sour when Bethesda began to talk about the DLC coming to Fallout 4 before the title has released, but Pete Hines, the developer’s  VP of Marketing and PR, defended the decision. “Yes, I think letting folks know our thoughts on it and how it fits into our post-launch plans is a good approach,” he stated on Twitter after a fan prompted a response.

It was last week that Bethesda announced that Fallour 4 would be getting a $30 season pass and it will grant access to any DLC released for the title.  “Since we’re still hard at work on the game, we don’t know what the actual DLC will be yet, but it will start coming early next year,” the publisher said. “Based on what we did for Oblivion, Fallout 3, and Skyrim, we know that it will be worth at least $40, and if we do more, you’ll get it all with the Season Pass.”

Not only will the title be getting the season pass but there will also be free updates along the way that will smooth out any bugs the title might have and add new features periodically.

Fallout 4 comes to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on November 10th.
