PlayStation Experience has always been a large event where Sony announces and updates fans on some of their current projects. This year, though, it looks like Sony wants to start building it into something larger.
The PlayStation Experience will host the first invitational LAN tournament for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. This should be a fun tournament to match some of the announcements regarding the next year of the Call of Duty World League. Here are the eight teams that were invited:
- Evil Geniuses
- Faze Clan
- Luminosity Gaming
- Orbit
- Renegades
- Rise Nation
- Splyce
- Team Elevate
PlayStation Experience will have plenty of interesting information to go with the tournament this year. The World League team will make a number of announcements regarding “season structure, game updates, and key events.”
Having a tournament on a popular shooter such as Infinite Warfare is a great way to get people excited for an event. Especially when that tournament comes with the promise of even more information on the game and other Sony projects.
