Misty is the doe-eyed yet spunky sidekick and friend of the ever famous Pokemaster Ash Ketchum. She started out as a Gym Leader in the series, first appearing in the episode “Pokemon, I Choose You!” She has since befriended many other Pokemon Trainers in their quest to be the very best that no one ever was; thus, becoming a major character and icon in one of the world’s most famous animes.
Misty can also be found in the Nintendo Pokemon games including Red, Blue, Yellow, FireRed, LeafGreen, Gold, Silver, Crystal, HeartGold, and SoulSilver. She is a very popular character in the franchise mainly because she is a member of the main trio, consisting of Ash and Brock, but also because she is more of the mothering character with a great emotional range. She has a lot of character and spunk, making her a fan favorite.
This cosplay by Illisia Cosplay is spot on, she took Misty and made her come to life. With ginger hair, denim shorts, and a fun attitude, Misty has never looked better. And even though this costume is simple, making it Misty is more than just putting on the shorts and suspenders, it is about becoming that character. Even in photos Misty’s personality shines through, and for that we applaude you Illisia Cosplay.
