Pokemon Go Has Region Specific Pokemon In Eggs

Fans of Pokemon Go will be very happy to hear that there is a way to get region specific Pokemon without actually traveling to that region. As it turns out, Pokemon that were once believes to be region locked can be found in eggs.

It seems that Pokemon Go is really encouraging everyone to get out and walk if you want to catch all the Pokemon. It was theorized that Mr. Mime, Taurus, Farfetch’d, and Kangaskhan could only be caught in Europe, North America, Asia, and Australasia, respectively. Now, however, many have their doubts about this theory as it seems Pokemon Go players are getting these Pokemon by hatching eggs.

BBC News reports that 33 year old Sam Clark has caught 143 out of the 145 Pokemon and got the North America exclusive Taurus from an egg. Eurogamer also reports that one California based player managed to catch all 145 Pokemon and got the region exclusives through eggs. It appears that these eggs are far more important than once believes if you have any plans to catch ’em all.

Of course, there are still some mysteries in the game. Fans still do not know how to capture the extraordinarily exclusive Mewtwo, and Mew, the three legendary birds, and Ditto. Pokemon Go is a free download that is available on iOS and Android devises.
