Pokémon Sun And Moon’s Newest Trailer Reveals New Info, A Demo Is On The Way

Today, the Pokemon Company released a new trailer for Pokémon Sun and Moon. This new trailer reveals some new info including new evolutions for the starter Pokemon, new areas for Trainers to explore, and a special demo for the game.

Let’s get that last one out of the way first. Toward the end of the trailer, it was announced that a special demo would be released. This special demo will feature a special Greninja (the final evolution of Pokemon XY‘s Froakie and a playable character in Super Smash Bros. 4), which can Mega Evolve (oh yeah Mega Evolution was also confirmed to be coming back in this game) into Ash-Greninja, a special Pokemon from the anime series. Even cooler is the fact that this Greninja can be transferred and used in the final game, which is pretty sweet.

The trailer also revealed two new areas: Festival Plaza and Poké Pelago. The former is a new area where players can earn coins by helping out other players which they can use to by items or raise their Pokemon. The latter is a secret island where Pokemon that are deposited in your PC can go to train, find rare items, and even attract wild Pokemon that you can add to your collection. Finally, the trailer revealed the first stage of evolutions for the starter Pokemon, which you can check out in the trailer below, though it is a spoiler though, so click on it at your own risk. Pokémon Sun and Moon will release on November 18th exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS and 2DS. Meanwhile, you’ll be able to catch the special demo on October 18th.
