Resident Evil Spinoff Umbrella Corps Gets Release Window

Competitive shooters haven’t done very well for the Resident Evil franchise, but Capcom hasn’t given up hope, delivering the second trailer as well as a release window for their next attempt at the genre, Umbrella Corps. In the new trailer, we get a look at a number of new maps and modes headed to the game, including a version of the village from the very beginning of Resident Evil 4. Other maps featured in the new trailer are the TRICELL Africa headquarters, featured in Resident Evil 5. Towards the end of the trailer, we also get a glimpse of a yet-unrevealed map, which looks to be inspired by Resident Evil 5’s Africa.

Two teams of three face off against each other in a brutal shootout, climbing walls, employing all sorts of advanced weaponry across an infected battlefield. A single player mode was also announced, which challenges a single player to face down waves of undead across 20 missions. Umbrella Corps is scheduled for release in Map, and will hit PlayStation 4 and PC as a digital release. Check out the new trailer below.
