A new trailer from NetherRealm Studios shows off a new character that will be available for fans to play in Injustice 2. The highlight of the trailer is definitely the fight between the two powerful characters, Wonder Woman and the Blue Beetle, where Blue Beetle shows off why he belongs on this roster of powerful heroes.
The first character to be introduced is Wonder Woman. Being an Amazon, she has incredible strength that is then aided by some great weapons. She has a classic sword and shield combo and her whip that allows her to attack from a distance as well. She looks to be a great addition to the large roster and should be plenty of fun to learn.
The new kid on the block is introduced next and is the lesser known Blue Beetle. Blue Beetle has a power suit that has been enhanced significantly by alien technology. The alien technology on his suit allows him to form incredibly powerful and useful gadgets to make him a very well rounded character. From swords, a mace, laser cannons, and more, the Blue Beetle really shines in the trailer and certainly looks like a powerful addition to the roster.
The trailer also briefly shows off some of the customization options that will come with the game’s new gear system. It was only shown briefly but sounds like a promising feature and I’m interested to see some of the different combinations that will come out of it. Injustice 2 is set to release in 2017 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
