Space Hulk: Deathwing Gets Some Extra Development Time

Space Hulk: Deathwing is getting some extra development time to smooth out the experience. Thankfully, the game has only been moved back about a week to be released on the December 14th.

The delay comes after some feedback from the beta they hosted last week identified some problems that need to be addressed. Instead of releasing a broken game and then getting a patch out, developer Streum On has decided to delay the game to work on load time improvements, general performance optimisations, UI and menu elements, sound design changes including voice-over work, as well as bug fixes and crash-related issues.

Thankfully, those looking forward to the co-op FPS set within the Warhammer 40,000 universe won’t have too long to wait. Instead of the intended December 8th release date, the Space Hulk: Deathwing will now release December 14th.

Space Hulk: Deathwing is now set to launch December 14th for the PC. The game will also be making an appearance on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One sometime in 2017.
