Star Wars: The Old Republic’s Knights of the Eternal Throne Expansion Gets Release Date And Trailer

After several hints were made during the recent Star Wars Celebration, BioWare has finally announced the next expansion for Star Wars The Old Republic. The upcoming add-on, Knights of the Eternal Throne is set to launch later this year.

Knights of the Eternal Throne puts the player at the center of their own explosive battle to rule the galaxy,” the developer explained. “As the Outlander, a veteran of the Great Galactic War, players will have the power to make their mark based on their light and dark side choices. Stakes are high as the player faces the most powerful villains in the galaxy including Emperor Valkorion and Empress Vaylin, as you lead the fight to take control of the Eternal Throne!”

The developer also announced that Knights of the Eternal Throne will introduce a new Galactic Command Systemwhich will allow players to “ignite light and dark side battles, face all-new erupting confrontations known as Uprisings, and unlock powerful rewards.” Additionally, the expansion will also provide players the freedom to choose between three difficulty levels for all in-game encounters.

Those who currently have an active subscription to the game or subscribe before October 25th, you will receive the bounty hunter Shae Vizlaas as a companion, free of charges. While those who hold their subscription by November 27th will unlock Rapid Recon Walker Mount. Lastly, players who maintain their subscription throughout the entire time, you will have access to the expansion three days early.
