‘Suicide Squad’ May Include Harley Quinn’s Backstory and Joker Connection

DC Comics and Warner Bros. are working on the third movie in the DC universe and it’s scheduled to be one hell of a joy ride. Man of Steel started the journey, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will premiere next summer and then Suicide Squad jumps in for a turn afterwards. The group of criminals, including some of the more iconic in the DC universe, are coerced into playing into missions via Amanda Waller in this sure-to-be-epic ensemble film.

The cast so far includes Will Smith (Deadshot), Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Cara Delevingne (Enchantress), Jai Courtney (Boomerang), Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flagg), Jared Leto (Joker), Jesse Eisenberg is rumored (Lex Luthor), and Viola Davis (Amanda Waller). Suicide Squad is helmed by David Ayer.

As for the rest of the rumors, we have heard way too many so here we go:

• Deathstroke the Terminator may be in the film.

• The Thinker could appear.

• Batman villain Hugo Strange to appear possibly.

• Batman could have cameo.

• Backstory details of Joker.

• Villain and plot information for the movie.

El-Mayimbe from Latino-Review has dropped another hint for Suicide Squad updates and this time it is all about Harley Quinn. The rumor says that Harley will have the iconic voice, appearance and relationship to the Joker. If the film does honor the original material, fans could be super excited about what is in store when Suicide Squad hits theaters.
