Unlike other foxes that roamed the woods of southern Ionia, Ahri had always felt a strange connection to the magical world around her; a connection that was somehow incomplete. Deep inside, she felt the skin she had been born into was an ill fit for her and dreamt of one day becoming human. Not only is this skin human – its an ode to real life people! This skin is a reference to the Korean Pop group, Girls’ Generation. Her outfit, splash art background, dance, and recall animations bear similarity to their 2009 single, “Genie”.
Rinnie Riot did a great job capturing the sleek nature of this alternate Ahri skin! Her fabric choices are spot on as well as her coloration; the work is neat and so absolutely adorable. Her details in the makeup work and small touches like the heart charm and perfectly colored lenses really seal the deal on this being one of my top favorite Ahri’s of all time. She even perfected the color matching to a non-standard wig color! WOW! She got this down right to the fluffy pink tails – color me impressed!
