Cloud Strife is the main protagonist in Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children: an arrogant and proud swordsman at first, Cloud believes himself to be a member of an elite warrior unit called SOLDIER. He discovers that his memories are false and, with the help of his friends, learns there is more to being a hero than possessing physical strength and fame. Tifa is Cloud Strife’s childhood friend but lost contact with him years ago. When she meets him again she convinces him to join the resistance group she is a member of, AVALANCHE, to fight Shinra Electric Power Company. Tifa supports Cloud as his comrade and helps him fight his nemesis Sephiroth, bearing the same hatred for him as Cloud does due to the destruction of their hometown.
Wow is all I can say about this pair. Absolutely WOW. LauraNiko and Miyuki Karame may be my absolute favorite FF7 Tifa/Cloud pair ever. The detail – THE DETAIL! I have never seen a buster sword done with so much detailing – and that wig is absolutely flawless. I am in awe. Tifa’s costume – while a bit more simple – is also flawless down to the aging on the elbow armor. And can we talk about the dress? Yes, lets talk about the dress, because I am in LOVE. The nostalgia for that very infamous part of the game brought to life with perfection. I honestly cannot say enough great things about these cosplayers’ work – and I wish them the best of luck in the European Cosplay Gathering, Season 5!
