Telltale Games Shares New Information Regarding Batman And The Walking Dead: Season 3
Telltale Games has revealed new information regarding two of their upcoming games. The Walking Dead: Season 3 is set to be available this fall, while their upcoming Batman game is set for release later this summer. The announcements were made by Telltale’s head of creative communications, Job J. Stauffer on his Twitter page.
The third season of The Walking Dead is set to take place around the same time period as the comic books, which the games are based on. While the developers have hinted at a potential for crossovers between the two. The developer first announced Batman: The Telltale Series at the 2016 Game Awards, however, it was unclear what the game’s official name would be at the time. The upcoming game will follow Bruce Wayne and his cape-wearing alter ego and will have a new plot and story for gamers to follow.
So far, there’s no word on what platforms these two will be on. Currently, Batman has only been confirmed for PC, Mac, and mobile devices, and no information on which devices will be offered for the third season of The Walking Dead. If you examine Telltale’s track record, it is plausible that both games will be coming to Microsoft and Sony consoles, in addition to PC, Mac, iOS, and Android.
