Here’s A Cool Legend Of Zelda Google Map Easter Egg

Google is famous for its many video game themed Easter Eggs, from making their logo into a playable version of Pac-Man, to using the Google Maps phone app to find and catch a bunch of Pokemon. Once again, it’s time for Google Maps to get in on the fun, with a new Legend of Zelda Easter Egg that turns the little man into the series protagonist, Link. Hey, even the Hero of Hyrule gets lost sometimes.

This is all in celebration of the release of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD, which comes out today, and unlike other video game Easter Eggs, he’s pretty easy to find. Simply go to Google Maps, move down to the bottom right, and select the icon used for Street Views, who is now replaced with the silent protagonist himself Link. It isn’t much compared to other Google Easter Eggs, and it’s only for today, but it’s still a cute little distraction, and admittedly swing Link around and pointing to me the right to my favorite local Mom & Pop taco stand is pretty great.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD is available now exclusively for the Wii U.
