The New 1TB PlayStation 4 Gets Release Date

Today is glorious — especially for those who are fans of Sony. The company has announced that the 1TB Ultimate Player Edition PlayStation 4 will be available “select Europe and PAL territories” on July 15th. In case you haven’t quite done the math yet, the new PS4 has double the amount of the space the last does. It’s also said to be more energy efficient and lighter than it’s predecessor — at least based on the appearance of the two models that were leaked previously.

Where other territories are concerned, it doesn’t seem like there’s a solid release date. There also haven’t been word on how much the console will cost though Sony has encouraged gamers to check in with their local retailers. For anyone who hasn’t snagged the current model of the PlayStation 4 it might be worth it to hold off and wait for this gem — the space alone makes it worth it.
