Wii U Exclusive Game Fast Racing Neo Officially Has A Release Date

Good news, fans of F-Zero and Wipeout franchises! The upcoming Wii U indie racing game that channels both of those games, Fast Racing Neo, now officially has a release date.

Announced on the official Twitter account of the developer Shin’en Multimedia, Fast Racing Neo is set to release on the Wii U in both Europe and the US on December 10th. The cost of the game is $14.99 USD,  14.99€, and 10.99GBP, depending on where you live. The announcement on Twitter even comes with a nifty looking mock movie poster, making me long for an F-Zero movie.

As it sits now, Fast Racing Neo is a Wii U exclusive, though there’s a chance that it might come to other consoles later. The game has been on my radar for quite a long time, especially when it was revealed that the game would also have the announcer from F-Zero GX (one of my favorite games on the Gamecube) Jack Merluzzi, coming back to be the announcer of this game. And who knows: if this does well enough, maybe both Nintendo and Sony can see it as a sign to bring back the F-Zero and Wipeout series.
