Bad Robot and ChAIR Announce Spyjinx for Mobile and PC
After becoming enamored by Infinity Blade, Hollywood director JJ Abrams and his production studio Bad Robot are teaming up with ChAIR Entertainment to develop a new game for PC and mobile, slated for a 2016 release date. Entitled Spyjinx, the action-strategy game mixes elements of world building and RPG development, and looks to be set in a thrilling world of espionage. Unfortunately at the moment, not much exists in the way of details, with the game being announced in a discussion between Abrams, ChAIR’s Donald Mustard, and Geoff Keighley, but with beta sign ups available now on the game’s website, Abrams and Mustard went on to say that players will be able to help develop the game, providing feedback during the beta testing period.
Currently, the game is being developed using the Unreal Engine 4, and will be available on PC, tablets, and phones. No news has been made of a console release, however Abrams did state that the game would hopefully come to “everywhere that you enjoy games.”
