Bioshock Infinite is available now for PC, Xbox 360, and the PlayStation 3! Having been out only hours, BioShock Infinite is already the highest rated game of the young year sporting a Metacritic rating of 96 for both PC and console.

Creative Director and co-founder of Irrational Games Ken Levine has said on the matter, “Today’s the day we’ve been looking forward to. Our redefinition of BioShock is ready to be delivered from our hands to those of gamers around the world. We believe Infinite is very much a BioShock experience, but at the same time something very fresh that both fans of the original and newcomers to the series will be able to enjoy.”

Bioshock Infinite’s story is just as beautiful as the gameplay and environment. You play as U.S. Cavalry veteran Booker DeWitt. With his life hanging in the crossfire, DeWitt has only one opportunity to save himself and wipe the slate clean: he must rescue Elizabeth, a mysterious girl who has been imprisoned on the flying city of Columbia since she was a child. Together, they are forced to work together to survive the threats of Columbia while uncovering its deep dark secret.

A Bioshock Infinite season pass has also become available and provides $30 worth of downloadable content for the price of $19.99 (or 1600 Microsoft Points for the LIVE players out there). The Season Pass will include all three add-on packs and will receive the Early Bird Special Pack at no extra cost. This bonus pack contains exclusive gear, a machine gun damage upgrade, a pistol damage upgrade, a gold skin for both weapons, and five Infusion bottles that allow the player to increase their health, shield durability, and the quantity of Salts they can carry. Unsure on whether or not to pick it up? Check out the launch trailer below!
