Pokémon Sun and Moon’s first Global Mission is now live. And what better to kick things off then with a simple objective: catch a bunch of Pokémon within a certain amount of time.
Well, it’s not that simple. Starting today and lasting until December 13th, players must collectively capture 100 million Pokémon. This may seem like a daunting task, and make no mistake it kind of is, but it is important to know that both games sold 2 million units. In it’s first three days. And this was before Europe got it’s hands on the game; I think we got this.
What’s your prize for catching 100 million Pokémon? Well, it the goal is met, everyone who participated gets 1,000 Festival Coins, which can be used to unlock some sweet in-game rewards. Otherwise, everyone gets 100 coins instead, so no matter what happens, you’ll get a reward. In order for it to count, simply use the Game Sync feature by December 13th, which is in the Poke Plaza area of the game.
Pokemon Sun and Moon are available now exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS. To see what we thought of the games, check out our review here.
