The Second Year Of Rainbow Six Siege Pro League Is Only On PC

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege Year 2 Pro League will be exclusively on PC. The first year was also on Xbox One, but that support is now being dropped.

Ubisoft announced that Xbox One support is being dropped “to ensure a bigger and better development of the competition.” However, Ubisoft is quick to not that console players can still take part in in the Major Leagues.

“By going all-in with PC, we wish to bring a higher level of engagement and entertainment to the competition, promoting the positive values that we embrace: the dedication our pros have for the game, their discipline, their hard work and the sacrifices they make,” Alexandre Remy, brand director, said.

This year’s competition includes three seasons of Pro League, with the top placing teams at the end of each season in Europe, North America, and Brazil competing head-to-head against one another at a live event with $100,000 in prize money on the line. The finals this time around will take place in Katowice, Poland on May 20th and 21st.
