Halo 5: Guardians Available for Pre-Load Now, One Step More Required for Launch

For anyone who already purchased Halo 5: Guardians they’ll be able to start pre-loading the title onto their consoles. This is means for rejoicing, me thinks, as numerous Halo fans have been waiting for Halo 5: Guardians to drop — and some have not been patient about it. The title doesn’t come without taking up a chunk of data though as 46.2GB is the space it’ll be using. That’s just the beginning too since gamers can anticipate that it’ll end up reaching 60GB which means space might need to be cleared off your console for it.

There’s a separate update that gamers will have to download for the title to work at launch which will “supplement online multiplayer with map content for Arena Multiplayer and Warzone Multiplayer.” Microsoft has recommended that gamers switch their Xbox One’s power setting to “Instant On” to make sure that the game is all patched up and good to go when you’re ready to play it.

This won’t be like the incident with Call of Duty: Black Ops III though, as Microsoft has officially stated that this is the real deal. Don’t think you’ll be granted access to the title earlier, however, as this will only allow players to be able to jump right in and play as soon asMicrosoft grants the green light on October 27th.
