Video Games are a wonderful thing with so many games out there today from past and current generations there is a wide variety to accommodate every type of gamer. With the gaming industry always evolving it’s important to know the boundaries in gaming as well as to respect the ratings made by the Entertainment Software Rating Board. Since it’s formation in 1994, the ESRB has been the Judiciary Branch for the gaming industry; they enforce guidelines, and ensure responsible online privacy for all video games in the North American Region. The ratings by the ESRB are assigned to each game and judges that specified rating for that video game, based on the in-game content, as well as insuring ethical promotions for the games.
At The Game Awards 2015, Ubisoft unveiled a new trailer of their upcoming prehistoric adventure, Far Cry Primal. Far Cry Primal takes players back to the stone age in this goretastic trailer while showcasing fierce animals and the power of survival. The trailer also shows the main protagonist having the power to tame and control various dangerous animals. WHAT?! Check out the trailer for yourself below.
One of the biggest projects in Kickstarter history: Shenmue III, finally received a new update on its Kickstarter campaign page. Titled "Month 3 Progress report," gives a glimpse at new screenshots (work in progress) and details on the titles current development progress.
Nine minutes of Adrift gameplay has been released and it might cause gamers to hold their breath -- and not for a short period of time either. If you're someone who really gets into their gaming activity, interacting and all, then it might be hard for you to not hold your breath while playing Adrift. In the nine minutes featured, the title has gamers searching for an oxygen source in a crashed space station. That might sound horrible enough on its own but while you're searching there's a constant reminder that you're running out of breath as someone continues to gasp for air. Imagine how this might feel while playing on the PlayStation VR -- not like playing on console won't be tough enough.
There are new songs available for Rock Band 4 and for fans of Aerosmith, they might be pleased to know that they're centric around the iconic band. "Aerosmith Hits Pack 02" comes fully equipped with six songs, that include fan favorites such as "Cryin'" and "Dude (Looks Like a Lady)".
2015 is a huge year for Back to the Future and people are going crazy with the year syncing up with the movie franchise. Even gaming titles are banking on the excitement and Rocket League isn't letting the opportunity get away from them. Fans of the title -- and the Back to the Future movies, will be happy to know that they'll soon be able to turbo into a soccer ball as a DeLorean towards the tail end of this month. Gamers won't have to wait that long, however, as the new car is said to launch on October 21st.
